As
the two knights meet in combat notice the hybrid armour not
yet the fully articulated plate used in the late 14th and early
15th Centuries. In this era of development, the traditional
mail is reinforced in the more vulnerable areas such as the
hands, elbows and upper arms with individual steel plates.
